Branded rows in AXIS enhance the appearance of lists, making them stand out on a busy page. They are specific row types that are designed to:
- Showcase imagery relating to the list
- Display advertisements or sponsorships
- Display text
- House links (to specific content or to the related list)
Branded rows work with row theming, which lets you choose a background color for the list. For more information, visit our set up themes article.

Additional use case examples
There are many creative options with branded rows and theming. This next section explains how to combine branded rows with editorial images to create the illusion of larger rows.
For example, adding an ED1 Editorial image row followed by a PB4 Branded image (2:3) row and another ED1 row, all with the same row theme, displays to end users like it's one big row.
ED1 and PB4 combined branded row and editorial image example:
How to set up a combined branded and editorial image row
- Set up the ED1 row with the required editorial image.
- Set up the PB4 row with the relevant list.
- Set the list theme for the PB4 row (in the associated list properties) to match the colors in the ED1 image. For example, set the PB4 list theme color to match the ED1 Winter is Here image color.
