Note: This release supports iOS, iPadOS, and tvOS devices.
Overview
This release contains accessibility improvements and general bug fixes.
What’s New
Accessibility enhancements
Player navigation and control
We've made further accessibility improvements to iPadOS support users using external keyboards when interacting with the timeline (scrub bar) and sound volume controls:
- Timeline: move the play position backward/forwards by 10 seconds using the key combination Option+left/right
- Volume: with the mute/unmute icon in focus, increase/decrease the sound volume by 5% using the key combination Option+up/down
TvOS image memory optimizations
We've made major changes to how we cache images on tvOS devices, improving application performance and stability, ensuring images load more smoothly.
Alternative text for non-text elements/icons
To aid accessibility, we've added alternative text descriptions to fields within the AXIS iOS application. Alt-text is written copy that appears in place of an element or icon, helping screen-readers to describe what's displayed on the screen.
