Assets are your catalog of video and non-video content. Each asset contains metadata (including images), offers, and an internal reference to a video file if applicable.
AXIS supports multiple asset types that display in rows in Deltatre Apps and Reference Apps. How they display will depend on the available metadata, the selected row type, and how it's configured, and the user's app.
What are Team assets?
Teams are a sport-specific asset type, representing a club, squad, or other group of players or athletes. Team assets are represented by the icon in Presentation Manager.
Your team assets will usually be related to your other sports assets, such as the events and competitions that the team participates in. They will also be related to your persona assets, allowing you to associate the team with the athletes that form part of it.
If a user has followed the team, you can use this information to surface relevant content to them about the team through list rules, ensuring they never miss a moment.
Read our asset relations article to learn more about relating your assets, and how this helps you to dynamically surface content on your page lists.
Team asset metadata
Metadata that you record for your team assets can be configured to display across your apps. The fields that are shown, and how they appear, will depend on factors including the row type used, and the user’s device.
Team asset metadata fields include:
- the title or name of the team
- a detailed or short description of the team
- the sport it belongs to
- the country the team represents or is based in
- the gender of the team’s athletes
A comprehensive list of available metadata fields can be found in our asset metadata article.
Team detail page
Set up an item detail page for your team assets, which users are taken to when they select the asset from anywhere in their app.
The page can be used to display additional details about the team. It can also be used to surface related events, personas, competitions, and confederations, based on asset relations defined between your asset types.
