This release for the AXIS Platform (Presentation Manager and APIs) delivers an improved sign-in experience, badge enhancements, an updated date selector, and list rule changes that support the display of live events.

Emails replace usernames in new sign-in flow
Continuing our phased move towards implementing SSO across our platforms, we’ve improved the registration and sign-in process for Presentation Manager, while at the same time bringing a refreshed user interface to the sign-in page.
By replacing usernames with more unique email addresses, and tightening up password rules, we’ve streamlined the sign-in flow. It’s now more secure, intuitive, and aligned with industry standards.
We’ve also:
- simplified the new user creation process
- updated the self-service password management for both new and existing users
As well as removing usernames from the sign-in process, we’ve replaced them across Presentation Manager. This means that where you’re used to seeing usernames displayed – for example, under Recent Users on the dashboard, or in the user catalog – you’ll instead see either the user’s name or their email address.

Badge scheduling
We’ve added scheduling to asset badges. You can now configure a badge in advance, instead of having to set it up in real time. The new functionality lets you control when badges are displayed on your assets – and do so in a much more hands-off way.

Date selector revamp
We’re refreshing and replacing components across AXIS. One of these is the date selector used when creating schedules – including for badges (see above), and for page and row variants.
The new scheduler is faster and more intuitive, delivering the functionality you’re used to in a cleaner, simpler package for a greatly improved user experience.
What's fixed
- We’ve fixed an issue with the width of the item picker dropdown that made it too narrow to read the content when adding assets to a row.
- We’ve fixed an issue that caused the inconsistent handling of the error messaging linked to user roles and permissions.
- Fixed a bug that prevented the list preview from being generated when certain list rule selections were made.
