What’s new
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Security is important to us, which is why we’ve introduced two-factor (2FA) authentication in AXIS Presentation Manager.
The 2FA developments build on the new sign-in flow released in AXIS 9.6. Improving general security by helping to reduce the risk of unauthorized users gaining access to Presentation Manager and Ref App services. 2FA requires users to verify themselves with a code sent to a secondary device.
For more information on how this works in Presentation Manager, read our updated signing in and managing your password article.
Custom badge styling
You can now apply a predefined custom color theme to your asset badges, allowing you to differentiate your badge messaging through the theme you select.
The customization applies to the badge background as well as the text color. Now when you set up a badge, you can choose to apply either the default theme or one of the custom color themes defined for your platform to really bring your badge to life.
Read our Badges article to find out more.
Note: Updates to front-end applications - coming soon for the AXIS Reference Apps - are needed in order to display custom badge colors and user devices.
Alternate list titles
We’ve added the ability to have a separate, internal title for your lists in Presentation Manager that won’t be displayed in front-end apps. This new mandatory field is titled ‘List name.’
It means you can give your list a meaningful, descriptive name for internal reference, and display an alternate, user-friendly title in your apps.
Bulk delete for list items
Our new bulk delete function lets you quickly select and remove multiple items from a list in one go, eliminating the need to delete them individually. You’ll still need to confirm and save the changes before the list is updated to prevent accidental deletion.
As a further improvement, we’ve also enhanced the drag-and-drop function for reordering list content.

Multi-language images
This new feature lets you configure uploaded images based on supported languages. Specify a language for your asset, list, link, or channel images, and publish to front-end apps.
This allows you to target users with different images depending on their language settings – particularly useful where the images incorporate text.

List filter enhancements
Following recent improvements to the scheduling of upcoming events, we’ve further refined the filters, making them simpler and more intuitive.
A new Event Timeframe parameter replaces the Event Start Date and Event End Date options, streamlining the process of adding live and upcoming events to your lists.
Learn how to use list rules to surface items in your lists dynamically.
Duplicate rules within a list
Given a rule exists within a list, operators now have the option to duplicate a rule, helping to save time and effort when creating a similar rule to one that already exists. Find the duplicate option within the rule drop-down menu.
For more information, see our how to use list rules article.
Search for a rule value
Operators can now use text entry to assist filtering, before picking from the rule value options that meet the query.
This ‘Combo box’ enhancement helps to save time and effort, improving the overall list rule creation UX.
For more information, see our how to use list rules article.
Is/is not filters
We’ve added the ability to select the Is not filter option, where applicable. This development provides operators with a wider range of combinations when defining rules.

What's changed
Date selector timezones
Timezone selections are now available when scheduling page, row and menu variants, badges, and event asset start and end times. This allows you to serve content to your users at the most ideal time for their location. Time settings in these areas display in a 24h format.
This builds on recent updates to the date selector modal (see AXIS 9.6 for earlier enhancements) and makes the process of scheduling content across multiple territories even easier.
Read up on how variant scheduling gives you control over when your content appears to users in their apps.
ANY/ALL selector
We’ve updated the ANY/ALL selector used when applying segmentation tags. Previously a button that toggled between the two operators, it’s now a dropdown selector, making it more prominent, easier to apply, and consistent with other similar functions.
Find out how to apply segmentation tags to target content to specific audience groups.
